The Mash Tun stays on top!
For the second Christmas in a row, we went up to the Mash Tun for a family meal. There didn't seem to have been as much choice on the menu, but the food was lovely. I had sausage and mash with onion gravy, followed by a white chocolate bailey's mousse for afters. The service we received all night was fantastic - we didn't have to leave our seats once to order anything at the bar. Certainly one of the best pubs in Trowbridge!

The best steak pie anywhere in Trowbridge
I say it's the best steak pie in Trowbridge, I'd say it's the best steak pie I've had anywhere! Just thinking about it makes me want to rush up there and order one - I just hope it's still on the menu next time I go there!

Delightful pub on the edge of Trowbridge
I'm lucky enough that the Mash Tun is walking distance from my house, so it makes a lovel stroll up there for food or drink.
We went to the Mash Tun for a family meal a few months back and the food was lovely! I had a steak pie and I think it had to be the best pie I've ever had!
The staff are always friendly in the pub and there is a lovely inviting atmosphere in there where you always feel welcome.By jodehumphries at 14:31 on 02/10/10
