Changes at Trowbridge Station

I was at Trowbridge station yesterday getting a train to Bristol and noticed that there is work being done on platform one. The last few times I’ve been to the station, there has been the likes of diggers in the car park, but no signs of work.

I’ve tired having a look to see what work is being done, and have had no luck. Does anyone know what is being done at the station?
I think it was years ago that there used to be another waiting room in this location. If they were building a new waiting room, it would be great as a lot of the time the waiting room isn’t open where the ticket office is closed, and there is nothing worse than waiting on a cold platform when a train is delayed.
What would you like to see at Trowbridge station?

It's about time they added another waiting room, the amount of times I've been at the station only to find the ticket office isn't open and there is no where to buy your tickets or sit in the warm is ridiculous! We're the county town, yet we probably have one of the worst train stations.
