And why don't we have a shallow paddling pool area, like the small one in Chippenhams park for the little ones in the summer? Surely it's not that old story, money! we don't have any. This would be good PR for a local company to sponsor a project like this. It would give their company a much need free more or less publicity on a permanent stage. And while we are at the park I see the vandal who has been defacing our town has struck again. He it is no doubt a guy, I can not see a girl being so selfish or stupid. Has defaced the walls to the centenary park and the music stage. Now we all know that there is CCTV in the area, so why oh why is this little juvenile vandal still getting away with it ? Public humiliation should do the trick when caught. put his face in the local papers along with his parents, and the make him clean the mess up with a sign saying he's sorry. And to add to woe, he can clean all the graffiti up all over the town as part of his punishment , and as a warning to others. Lets lead the way as a county town with pride, not shame.
