I needed to grab something quick the other day and walked into The Codfather. The staff were really friendly and there was even a place to sit and eat which is rare for a fish and chip shop. It was £1.30 for a regular portion of thick cut chips which didn't seem overly greasy either.

The Brilliantly named Codfather is a Trowbridge fish and chip restaurant that is situated on Church Street. The Codfather of course also has a take away service where you’ll find excellent food featuring lots of specials and meal deals on offer.

ReportThe Codfather on Church Walk really is the best located chip shop for when you are in the centre of Trowbridge. If I'm in need of a quick nite to eat when I'm in town, I have to head to the Codfather and get myself a portion of chips. I remember it being a Saturday ritual when I was younger going into town with friends.
