Trowbridge Weather: 2011 was Second Hottest Year Recorded

It has been confirmed that 2011 was the second warmest year ever to be recorded for the UK.

This year, we have seen dramatic changes in weather in a very short space of time. We had a hot Spring, a miserable Summer and a sprinkle of snow this Winter. Not forgetting the gale force winds two weeks ago.
The last time a year entered into the top 10 of being the warmest was 1997.
New Year's Day is expected to be mild with light rain spreading across the country with temperatures reaching up to eleven degrees in Trowbridge.
Best take an umbrella for the New Year's party this year!
