A village in Trowbridge has announced that dogs will not be allowed to be walked without a leash in some areas.

North Bradley will have a new order that dogs will not be allowed off their leads on the common near The Rank (on the road going out into Southwick) and along the Bridleway.

This new order will be in affect from June 1 2012.

By law, dog owners should pick up their dog's mess. If a dog is caught fowling and the owner does not clean it, a fine of £500 will be issued.

Plenty of dog bins are available to use through Trowbridge's villages and the centre of town which get emptied regularly.
