Trowbridge station security has been upgraded as part of First Great Western's improvements to various stations.

The station now has two security cameras on both platforms in an attempt to make the station area safer and secure.

Dave Martin, the Station Manager for stations in Wiltshire and Dorset said: "Previously Trowbridge Station has only had very limited CCTV inside the station building, now we have introduced platform cameras that will help us to reduce incidents of crime at Trowbridge Station."

It has also received Customer Information and Public Address screens to give customers more detailed information about train times and delays.
