Trowbridge School has Eyes on the Prize

The John of Gaunt School, Trowbridge is hoping to scoop up an award in recognition of talented pupils.

The school which has 130 pupils already registered as gifted and talented take their learning further by doing extra activities and taking GCSE and A-Level exams early.

Extra activities that are held within the school include working on the school magazine, creating a mock United Nations and visiting higher education establishments to see where there careers could take them.

The National Association for Able Children run the awards scheme and John of Gaunt is hoping to win an award for their efforts.
