While others were at home watching the X Factor final, Killing No Murder won an audience over at their EP launch at the Stallards Inn, Trowbridge.

The band, from Trowbridge, played some songs from their new EP: 'Vegabond Soul' as well as old material, all which are highly commendable.

The Stallards was packed with people eagerly waiting to hear Killing No Murder's set and it wasn't to disappoint.

To surprise locals further, the band attempted to cover famous grunge band Nivana's 'Lithium' which, unfortunately, did not go as well as planned. Nonetheless, the crowd praised their efforts as the band continued their set confidently.

The highlight of the night has to be their last song which was a festive cover of The Pogue's 'Fairytale of New York' which had everyone to their feet singing word for word. It was such a success the band played it twice.

Overall it was an enjoyable evening for non-X Factor fans, listening to great local talent and sipping on the local ales.
