The South West is expected to get much of the unusual autumn heat wave this week with temperatures set to soar to 28 degrees.

With a disappointing summer this year, it seems autumn has decided to reward England with the warmest September and October since the 80s.

This year, summer came early with a warm April but dipped below the usual 20 degrees in July and August.

Weather forecaster's predictions have become quite off the mark and with a warm autumn, what does this mean for winter?

Let's get out and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
