Knife-wielding robber jailed for 32 months

A Trowbridge man who carried out a knife point robbery in the Wiltshire town on New Year's Eve has been jailed for 32 months. Peter Roy Osborne, 50, of Wingfield Road, Trowbridge, entered the Tesco petrol station on County Way shortly before 5.20pm and demanded money from the till. He left with about £150. He pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of a knife at Swindon Crown Court.
