A Trowbridge independent business has found a new home after shutting their doors without notice last week.

S.K Fruits has signed a contract with Castle Place Shopping Centre in Trowbridge to open up their business once again.

The fruit and vegetable shop has been offered a deal with the owners of Castle Place Shopping Centre and could be up and running by Saturday.

Rumours were confirmed that S.K Fruits could no longer do business in The Shires because of the cost of rent.

Customers were left baffled when they discovered notices on the shop's shutters despite being one of the longest traders in The Shires.

Delighted. A recession is no time for The Shires to get greedy.
