Frome Town are staging a special fundraising match at the AlderSmith Stadium on Sunday to raise funds for the club's stand appeal.

A supporters team put together by Asa Wilkinson and a team representing the club organised by secretary Ian Pearce will go head-to-head in a friendly game (2pm).

The game will be officiated by Football League linesman Richard Corp.

All those taking part will be paying £10 to play and admission to the match for spectators is £1 for adults and 50p for concessions.

The game is being sponsored by Andrews Coaches and the matchball by AM Print & Copy of Trowbridge. There will also be a special souvenir programme available for 50p.

Members of the Frome first- team squad will be looking after the normal matchday duties of manning the turnstiles, the PA system and changing rooms.

The Robins are looking to complete the funding for their new 250-seater stand in time for the March 31 deadline.
