A Trowbridge pub has been recognized to have the best toilets in town after receiving the highest rating of five stars by the Loo of the Year Awards 2011.

The Albany Palace Lloyds pub down Park Street, was inspected by a panel of judges from the British Toilet Association who acted as mystery customers.
The pub which is locally known as Lloyds bar, were judged on hygeine, decoration, matienence and overall customer care and service.
The aim of the Loo of the Year awards is to drive businesses with public toilets to maintain their facilities by keeping clean and accessible. The awards panel visit around 1,500 public toilets across the UK and rate them on their performance.
Albany Palace Pub is well known for it's nightlife, pub food and various events.
